Einstein’s Theory of Relativity Made Easy
In case you haven’t guessed, I really like “how things work” videos. I like the feeling of understanding the world I live in, though I probably don’t. Not really.
But, because I’m a big fan of the idea that you can learn English while you’re learning ‘real’ stuff, too, I think these are great videos for practicing English. The equation e=mc² is famous in every language, but I don’t think most of us understand the equation.
After you’ve watched this video, though, you still won’t understand the equation. But it does do a good job of explaining how the theory of relativity, in general, works. Even more important, it’s ‘natural’ English that’s spoken very clearly, and is easy to understand.
If anybody asks, I’m willing to do a transcription of the video (though it could take a few days) if the vocabulary is very important to you.
Happy watching!
