The Cost of a Wedding
Normally, the videos I include here have spoken English for you to listen to. This video, however, doesn’t include any listening practice. I’m sorry, but the video goes with last week’s topic of ‘weddings‘ really well, and I wanted to include it because it talks about something that’s important to me: not going crazy when you plan your wedding.
Before you watch it, what do you think the average American wedding costs? (Just so you know, I was surprised at how high the cost is.) Watch the video and see how many of the costs surprise you. I think I was most surprised by the cost of flowers, but I’m a man, and maybe I’m not sensitive enough about these things.
